Fort Jackson, SC - Gate Hours, Map and Status

Fort Jackson has four access gates, most of which are located along US-76 to the east of the city of Columbia. The Main Gate 2 is open 24 hours, which is where you'll find the Visitor Control Center (VCC), and is located along Storm Thurmond Blvd. Gate 1, located on Jackson Blvd and Gate 4, located on Boyden Arbor Rd, are both open 0500-1800, M-F. On Semmes Rd, Gate 5 is open twice daily, M-F: 0500-1000 for In & Outgoing traffic and 1600-1800 for Outbound Only; and is also open on the weekends from 0500-1800.
